Göran Strand has been a freelance photographer since 2002 and his fascination with astrophotography has increased over time. His photographs are internationally recognized and a number of them have been awarded Astronomy Picture of the Day by NASA. A New Yorker who follows Göran’s blog expressed his fascination with the words, “I wish I could stand in your shoes... and just for a second feel the way you felt when you saw what you did.”
